  • Permaculture design groundwork (the principles and ethics of permaculture)
  • Looking at your space with permaculture eyes (designing for productivity)
  • Creative ideas for growing more food on small urban blocks (small inputs, large outputs)
  • The basics of organic veg and or fruit tree systems (All about soils, pests and weeds – edible and not so)
  • Nutrient cycling (composting, worms, small animals and human energy systems)
  • “Oh but I rent..” (movable permaculture systems)
  • Fostering your permaculture learning (further education, resources, networks and permaculturing your community)

Please take note: this course will have you ‘up and doing’, not just watching powerpoints – as we make wicking beds, explore worm farms, plant and harvest in  a school garden, explore the magic of soil biology, meet like minded people, eat delicious locally sourced food and actively grow our permaculture thinking together.
