March 25 2018, 10am – 12:30pm Join fermentation queen, Harmony Taylor, for an workshop on the fabulousness of ferments. In this workshop Harmony will explore:
the ways in which fermented foods can assist in restoring and maintaining your gut health
how to ferment seasonal vegetables
how to make fermented pickles, kimchi and sauerkraut
how to sterlize equipment correctly
how to incorporate fermenting into a busy family life
Harmony is a qualified baker, self confessed foodie and mother of 2 (nearly 3) children. She has been successfully fermenting in her home for several years, and has a wealth of knowledge on all things ‘fermented’ This workshop includes notes, demonstrations, tastings, hands-on practical activities and lots of good conversations. It will be held in Jarrahdale Primary School’s commercial kitchen.
